After my initial consultation with Dr. Cook I decided
that I would try sedation dentistry. I hadn’t been to a
dentist in well over 10 years due to a MAJOR fear of
dentists, just like so many other people.
With sedation I was in the dentist chair for several
hours, and I must admit, during those procedures I
didn’t feel any discomfort, nor did I experience
discomfort when the sedation had worn off. That was just
the beginning of my new found relationship with the
“dentist office”. Dr Cook and his staff have made me
feel very comfortable each and every time I return for
any procedure. Not ONCE was I scolded for my lack of
past dental care. That meant a great deal to me. As an
adult we know we
should have taken better care of our teeth, but we do
not want to be scolded. I sincerely want to thank Dr.
Cook, Jill, Barb, Patti, and Mary Lou for making this
last year a wonderful experience.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 5 years, but knew
that I needed a good cleaning and some work done, but
was afraid to go back to the “production line” dental
office. I ended up finding Southdale Family Dentistry on
the internet and couldn’t be happier with my choice. My
visits with Dr. Cook and his staff have been great –
everyone is very supportive, takes their time and always
treats me with respect. At my request, I was given
various options for sedation, which ended up being the
best thing for me to get through my first visit, which
included a cleaning, a cap, and a filling. I now feel
that I can have my next cleaning without sedation since
Dr Cook and his staff is so easy to work with and make

We have enjoyed Dr Cook’s expertise for several years.
This has included fillings, crowns, and an implant. Some
procedures have involved coordination with other
specialists. The coordination was excellent and so were
the results. Our health has also improved with the
careful diagnostics and other preventive measures taken

very helpful and take the time to listen and follow
